Cleric is weak ? :S
Hey man, i usually pla lifeoff and made a cleric. Even with top items, i seem to die really fast :s What build is best for soloing with cleric? What items should i use? con/dex gloves/boots, etc, rings/necks. Please help me out, thanks.

without skills, one cannot survive With the exceptionally low ed, gunners and shadows will hit you quite a lot. Get yourself some g def pot and top rate shield to survive better Dex boots for mr con boots for ed I suggest pirate shop helm with diamond

Its incredible how strong lifeoff is compared to cleric.. it heals almost just as well, and is more or less immortal :O, the thing i am most surprised about is that lifeoff does more damage then cleric too >_<

clerics arent supposed to do damage while life offs focus on ExDef, a cleric needs a setup like this top 140-145 armor +6 or +7 with blackmoons in every slot for defense OR the UNIQUE, which is totaly awesome for clerics, requiring only 145 con 136 con shield +6 or +8 with blackmoons both con gloves and boots (you dont need MR... poster above is wrong) EITHER the 131 dex helmet or a pumpkin/scream helm, but the second one giving you 20 defense has no ex defense or MR, only then id consider the dex gloves or boots, on the helmet theres 3 options, beryl = aprox 900 hp, blackmoon = dex,cooldowns,exdef etc, diamond = wis, stronger buffs, mr, mp.. Def sock and imo CON rings for hp, or dex for running speed/cooldown with defense upgrades Skill setup 4.0 heal <- a must, lifes sometimes take 3.0 because they can fully heal, clerics cant, they got 18-19k hp 4.6 or 4.0 Lotos <- self heal mostly, but u played life off u know how it works 4.6 CG <- this is one of the most important skills for a cleric, lifes dont need it 100% of the times casted, but cleric does need it AWLAYS casted 4.0 First Aid <- self explanatory ? shinning hammer stuns and has aoe when casted above 2.0 Press ALT to use it 3.0 or 4.0 Confuse <- confuses everything around the cleric or with ALT it heals all allies When u wanna solo u drop cg and get darksword but, id never ever play a cleric with darksword, wtf for. Focus on defense and keep bless up, your gonna depend a lot on a good priest and pvp parties, i dont recommend you to solo with a cleric, but all in all its an ok chara, just not for every random person out there

Hmm it is indeed confusing :p so what ur saying is theres a greater chance of surviving a boom with a def armor, then an ex. def armor? And nother thing, i can only get enough dex to get Dark Sword to 4.4? And how bout cheetah helm? what helm should i get?

This thing about Def, instead of ED, seems to help alot actually... Altho i still for ED on my armor, i can already see the difference..

O.O clerics are Better then Lifes! Well at taking suporting... i got a Cleric n I tried Lifes... Clerics has Confuse and it Confuses Everyone around you And When use it in ALT It Heals everyone around u thats in your party. Lifes Confuse its a Attack >.< n its only AOE around ur Target... In my opinon that s a big diffrence because i Like runnin into Vit and Using Confuse then run out lol its so fun oh ya Clerics also have First Aid which Can free people from Stun n its also n nice AOE Stunner ^_^

clerics are alot better DD than a life man get this: 4.0 heal 4.0 first aid 4.0 lotus 4.0 dark sword 4.0 confuse 2.0 bless put ur quickuse slot in this order dark sword lotus first aid confuse heal hp tonic mp tonic nothing relief ressurection on page 2 of quickuse do this: slot 2: green pot (trust me dont use slot one, the amount of times ive accedently green potted in the middle of a fight while quickly going page 2 to rebuff after a debuff is not funny, because sometimes if u hit to change ur quickslot bar to ur main bar it doesnt change, then u goto hit 1 to start dealing dmg again and boom green pots ahoy) slot 9: attack pot slot 0: bless i always put ED on all my clerics items, i think it works better than def, with ED you will survive booms, if ur using def u probley wont, also if u dont survive a boom u cant heal urself whereas if u do survive u can, even if a gunners shooting u for 1.5k per shot, u can still heal perfectly fine. this build used to be able to take down templar who had higher fame than me. thats if i was 1v1 with them and no1 else was jumping in (so if u happen to meet him somewhere in map3 or arena or something. the only thing u probley wont be able to kill is a life, sometimes u can if ur lucky and u do ur dmg and confuse them so they dont get a chance to heal. note: as dummy said clerics arent for randoms, you need to be extremly fast thinking especially with confuses and heals or your dead basically.

the builds we are posting are two different builds, urs would be more a party pvp sort of build, where as mine is solo, neither are a bad build, it just depends how u wana play also with ur build, no blaze gavel, what the? u would also have 11 (12 if u do bug) free skill slots with ur build.

clerics are support! clerics need 4.6 cg 4.0 heal 4.6 lotus 3.0 confusion and 4.0 FA. Build 155 con 208 wis rest dex, 155 con is a bit high but u gonna need it when u have low fame, clerics die so easy i tank better on my chanter then on cleric : P Use Bm in helm and dex jewelery for faster cooldowns imo. its real hard to master a cleric prob the hardest char to play on ryl i would say Clercis with dark sword, go and die, kek la liao

If you get your hands on an elite spiritus armor(shouldn't be too hard) you can try this build, it's what i use on my cleric and it works fine.. DEX: 146+4(dex rings and 2 dex from armor) CON: 150+9(con helmet) WIS: 208 4.6 Bless 4.0 Heal 4.0 Confuse 4.0 Lotos 4.0 First Aid
