Cleric is weak ? :S

If you get your hands on an elite spiritus armor(shouldn't be too hard) you can try this build, it's what i use on my cleric and it works fine.. DEX: 136+4(dex rings and 2 dex from armor) CON: 150+9(con helmet) WIS: 208 4.6 Bless 4.0 Heal 4.0 Confuse 4.0 Lotos 4.0 First Aid I think you got the dex part wrong, shouldnt it be 146 dex? Unless you dont use 10 skill points, but i seriously doubt that :wink:

Hey all, i have Spiritus unique actually, and so i use the 145 con, and rest dex build... But i still get 1 hit, and would like to know, does mt Ex-def matter, or should i just stack Def madly? And another question.. E1, E2, E3, etc. does it effect the damage i take, or only the damage i deal or what?

ex helps u against booms where as def helps against melee. my opinion is that ex def is better because if someone melee u they aint going to 1 hit u, so u can just heal, BUT if a gunner boom u with low exdef ur dead. so my opinion is pump exdef, if u wana pump exdef u need dex, which means u need 140 con (gotta be a nice as armour) and rest dex, otherwise u will be creamed, but if u wana be a healing party slut, sure go con and little dex and just heal, how boring. ill just add as a note, with 4.0 heal and 140 con rest dex, ull still 1.1 for atleast 10khp

Ill just get a def shield on hand 1 and an ex def on hand 2.. and ill try out ex def and def, to see what works out best on booms, if i can survive a boom with def, its awesome, else ill have to use ex def.. thank you :)

Its amazing, a lifeoff is so easy, no one can kill it, simply no one.. for a cleric its really hard.. i have 2x spiritus unique, one with ED and one with Def, its hard to choose, i seem to lose no matter what.. or i run out of mp :s Even with top items they kill me incredibly fast, whats up with that? i dont get it..

And IF he would choose to go for ED, using 145 CON would benefit him more than 140 CON since he has a unique armor. And not everyone think that the support role in a party is boring, if you just want to be offensive, you shouldn't make a cleric in the first place.

I want to be unique, i dont wanna play a warrior, chanter, sin, archer etc that everyone plays >_< i wanna be a cleric, but i want to be able to solo.. and it cant be true that no matter what, ppl will be able to 1 hit me? Can soemone explain me the exact effect of ED vs damage, and Def vs damage? thanks

i doubt a cleric will be one hitted that easily, only a shadow with godly gear and L pot will be able to do it atleast i never had problem being one hitted as a cleric before...

Well clerics aren't good for soloing that's just how it is even if you make a high dex build with Dark Sword you'll have a pretty hard time killing people. Stealths on Torment are really strong and you'll get 1hit alot yea, but not at all every time, find yourself a good priest and it'll never happen.

Well, tell me some about your build then, because i do get 1-hitted, and i cant decide if i wanna stack def, or wear ex def.? Ok, and lets say i wanna be a godlike PT healer, what build should i get? what is the ULTIMATE items, dont bother if they are incredibly expensive, just tell me. thank you

the 145con unique u'r having is already a godly item(it's fuckin much better than a top 145con armor, that made it a godly armor, or even imba :) ) get as much def as u can if u get 1 hitted, it's prolly the stealth is using L or G pot, where u'r on the S pot :)

Alright.. so, unique dex torment gloves, and elite dex boots, or should i get con gloves and boots?

con for the ED, at some points ur magic resistance % is not increasing linearly as ur MR value goes up :) u will have around 71% with def helm, 75% with ED helm, that's enough
