No matter what build u use u gotta remember lifes are supporters in raids most ppl forget that then the party dies its amazing what you can do if u pay attention only on keeping ur pt alive thats what seperates most good lifes from bad lifes
oh and my build was
155 dex
59 con
21 int
rest wis
amazingly i had 50k fame and most higher famed wars couldnt kill me even 3/4 gold wars just use each skill wisely if u do u can take anything pretty much

72con is better for high fame lifeoff because magics do really few damage on u
i m LifeFantasy in rylu btw, was using 150dex 72con when i was 1 gold, Milk cant 2 hit me when he was crown :) so yea, it works really well
still, as lexmate said, find a build that suits u :)

But at the end i want to say that I have tried a lot of life builds and my favourite was my last build:
Wis: 245
Int: 21
Dex: 155
Con: Above 70
Skills:
Confusion 4.6
Courage 4.6
Lotos 4.6
Heal 4.0
Rest Responsion! Smile
With this i could win all Templars, Gunners, Attackers, Defenders, Priests, Archers, Sins! But it was hard to win some pro Warriors and it was pointless to fight with normal lifes or clerics! :)

Life joining sucks it's usefull skill it don't helps you to survive and heal 4.0 is better than 3.5 BTW it takes only 1 skill point! >_< Dah! And responsion is better than life j. And 1 question how much dex needed for Unique armor?
Life joining is not useless, it adds 80hp per skill level, that's alot.
As a life you'll often find yourself zerged by 2-3 or more people at once, in situations like that RI is pretty useless.
Insted of wasting skill points on a bunch of CON to get your HP up you can learn Life Joining and insted up DEX/WIS wich is by far more usefull.

4.0 heal is a must. when you are in party and healing tankers the 5k heal leaves you into trouble.

i play 150-160dex 65-75con rest wis
i prefer 4.0 heal and some life joining
you should reach min 9k HP....
