Hey, I never tough about it but since we axe/sword mastery for duel wield is gone and dmg/EA on wepons is now highter, cant we make wariors with shield and 1 hand weapon? minimum str, 160 con and rest dex. 136 shield with block and some nice weapon combined with song, slight, combo and uhm? dark sword? might be something to try... i found out that your ea will be around 220 and your dmg should be somewhere between 320 - 380 .... btw 1 hand weapon without other hand weapon hits faster i though. this could be the human templar xD i didn't try any warior in this server yet so i dont know the normall stats of duel wielded... also 2 hand weapon wariors are possible now with the 2 hand skills combined with song. Tell me if i'm wrong!!!!!

how on earth that ur war with only 1 hand weapon with shield can reach 220 EA? u still need offhand weapon to reach over 200 EA..........

Tell me if i'm wrong!!!!! dont think u reach that much attack / EA, unless your counting with the illusionary att/ea provided by the 2handed masteries, and that doesnt add antyhing to your character

Tell me if i'm wrong!!!!! I prefer kill faster than keep alive longer. I did it once (when they nerfed offhand weapons). Works well, but not as well as using an offhand weapon. You will notice a big dmg difference, trust me. 2 Handed wars with song keep doing less damage than duelwield. The best choise always will be duelwield. With top items, you will love ur dmg.

About the 1 handed sword/axe + a shield, you can't actually do that in Torment.

yes ,i tried that before but when u combo you have lesser dmg that the dual weilding.but you block and dmg which is equal to a templar.

1 hand with shield not working , dmg low campare with offhand..
